he Guiding Principles which determine our lives. They are the foundation upon which consciousness builds our experience. Established in trust and certainty these principles along with our gifts and passions determine our purpose in life. Nothing is more satisfying than living your purpose with passion and trust. What gets you up in the morning? What do you need to do regardless of what other people think or do? What would you do, whether anyone is looking or paying you? When you have found that, you have found part of your passion.

Do you know what your gifts are? Do you know where and how to give them? Is there anything holding you back from sharing them? There is something within each of us that wants to make a difference in the world. It is more than fame or fortune; it is a genuine desire to do good in the world for our fellow creatures, human and others. When you find what that is within you, you have found part of your purpose.

Everyone is called to something. The call may be perceived as a spiritual call or a persistent yearning toward some outcome, career, or life direction. It is real and it holds a key to our greatest happiness; the Joy of freely giving our unique gifts to others. At every stage in life, imagining your calling and establishing your purpose based on it, brings deeper meaning and joy. Explore and reimagine your calling and purpose.

"When we have the end held firmly in consciousness, the means to bring it about has already been set in motion," a quote by Thomas Troward. "I affirm this daily and live it out!" The phrase was a part of a revelation to what prayer is meant to be: life affirming.

As a child, I was taught praying was pleading, begging, and bargaining for an external Entity to grant life's desires. From time to time, I'd actually receive what I'd asked, so I knew prayer worked, but why didn't prayer work all the time? Even then I sought "a greater idea." 

As a truth seeker, I inevitably came across the SOM in my thirst for knowledge. I came to recognize each has a partnership with the Divine! God and I are one! Not some figure out there to pray to; IT is what we pray with! Life does not have to be random acts but created by design. WE then cultivate and demonstrate from our highest qualities. If we don't like what's happening, we can change it. Prayer works! 

Life becomes as we affirm through faithful utilization of Natural Laws and Universal Principles which exist to handle the "how." As we infinitely demonstrate life as we believe, "as a (wo)man thinketh, so is (s)he." And so it is.  

Rev. David Barrett talks about his own personal growth of moving from a Life of the Law of Averages, moving up to the Law of Cause and Effect, moving into the Law of Grace, and still moving into the Law of Livin’ Easy.
