Sunday Oct 25, 2020
Sunday Oct 25, 2020
Think of the world’s oldest bridges. What makes them last through the test of time? A good foundation, the right materials, an engineer inspired to build something that will last for centuries. The same can be said for building lasting, heart-felt and healthy relationships. Building bridges that last is the process of creating sustainable, collaborative community partnerships. Building a bridge for a world that works for everyone.
Affirmation: I am an important part of the whole in a world that works for everyone. Who I am makes a difference.

Knowing that we are each a reflection of the Infinite Self, we can move towards an understanding that everyone around us reflects ourselves. And just like me, everyone is doing the best they can, with what they have, in the time that they have. When we can find compassion for ourselves in doing the best that we can, we are able to transfer our compassion to those around us.
Affirmation: Today I reflect all of God’s Good outwardly so that each person I meet can have the same experience of Good through me.

A healthy dose of “questioning” is a great tool for developing an understanding of what we believe & know. When we think we know it all, or are not willing to question what we believe, or are not willing to ask what it means when someone feels their prayers have not been answered, we are no longer in alignment with being “Open at the Top.”
Affirmation: “I live in the faith that there is a Presence and Power greater than I am that nurtures and supports me in ways I could not even imagine.” Ernest Holmes

What is faith? How do you define faith and more importantly what does faith when actualized look like and feel like? Faith moves mountains and faith without works is dead which means faith is not passive but rather it is a vibrant and active demonstration of the Divine showing up in, through, with, and as us!
Affirmation: “Faith is a Knowledge within the Heart beyond the reach of proof.” Khalil Gibran.
